Annie
Studio Owner & Yoga Teacher
My yoga journey commenced in my early 20’s when I was working as a Community Correctional Officer. My role entailed supervision and counselling of clients who had committed offences. Working in a challenging and emotionally draining job, I was immediately drawn to the benefits a yoga practice provided.
As I journeyed into motherhood, I continued to appreciate the time to nourish and give back to myself through my yoga practice. As a mother of three, yoga has continued to help me to ground myself and connect back to my body, mind and breath.
Through my practice I have learnt to find that balance between effort and ease (Sthira and Sukkha), not only in my yoga but in my personal life – to balance strength and effort with joy and relaxation.
My Approach
I have been teaching adult’s and children’s yoga for 10 years. I value the benefits of an authentic yoga practice. I am passionate about bringing yoga to kids and teens so that they may adopt a regular practice to assist them on their journey through life.
As a teacher, my focus is not on achieving the perfect pose but on what you can achieve for your health and wellbeing. Yoga is not about being flexible. It is about improving your range of movement and strengthening your body.
My focus throughout practices is on the breath and how we can use the breath to maximise the benefits of our asana practice – to move energy and shift imbalances within the body. I use a blend of flowing Vinyasa and Hatha yoga postures with breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation.
Practices are modified to suit where you are at in your journey.

Pamela Walker
Yoga Teacher
I have been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2005. I felt so passionate about how yoga had helped me physically and mentally that I was inspired to teach. Over the years, my additional training has included pre & post natal yoga as well as Thai Yoga Massage. My classes are a slower paced class with focus on stretching, some strength work and relaxation. I also teach monthly restorative yoga sessions at Yoga4Life.

Heidi
Yoga Teacher
I have been a dedicated student of yoga for over 20 years, originally drawn to the practice as a form of alternative wellness and healing. Over time, yoga has become a constant source of guidance, peace, comfort, and mindfulness—bringing balance to my work life and overall wellbeing.
At Yoga 4 Life, I teach Hatha Yoga classes that are accessible for beginners and adaptable for those seeking a multi-level experience. My classes aim to create a supportive environment where students can connect with their bodies, calm their minds, and find moments of stillness.
